OREANDA-NEWS. Brazilian mining giant Vale reported coal production from its Moatize mine in Mozambique reached a new monthly record of 509,000t in June, according to international press.

“Vale's Moatize mine has been producing at full capacity since April 2012. In June, the company also handled a record 300,000t of coal transported through the Sena railway line,” Vale Mozambique operations director Altiberto Brandao said.
