OREANDA-NEWS. Today the cornerstone will be laid in the rebuilding of the wastewater treatment facility in the city of Paide that, in accordance with the contract concluded between Paide Vesi AS and Nordecon AS in April this year, means that in just 12 months’ time Paide’s wastewater problems will have been solved.

Pursuant to the contract concluded between Paide Vesi AS and Nordecon AS for rebuilding of the city’s wastewater treatment facility and sewage pumping stations, the work is to be completed by 30 July next year.

“Everything is currently right on schedule, the large-volume concreting work has been finished along with the laying of the bottom plate for the process reservoirs. We are now reinforcing the reservoir walls and have commenced construction of the technological building: its foundation is ready and we are assembling the frame,” said Erkki Suurorg, Member of the Management Board of Nordecon AS. “So we can safely say that in 12 months’ time we will have a good reason to get together again right here – for the unveiling of the new wastewater treatment facility”.
