OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2013. As it was informed in the Ministry of Finance, the debt reduction was due to the change in the U.S. dollar exchange rate to other currencies.

Within 7 months of 2013 Moldova received new external loans worth USD 36.91 million and payment on the principal foreign debt during the same period amounted to USD 29.02 million.
