OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2013. The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) wrapped up a six-week intern program at O'Hare and Midway International Airports with a thank-you luncheon at the CDA Aviation Administration Building near O'Hare International Airport.

The CDA worked with One Summer Chicago (OSC) to connect young people to summer jobs, internships and training in Chicago. The young adults have the opportunity to learn job skills, develop their resumes and explore career interests.

"On behalf of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, we are very pleased to be part of this outstanding program that may produce some of future aviators and aviation leaders," said CDA Commissioner Rosemarie S. Andolino. "These interns have had the chance to interact with and assist travelers from all over the world through Chicago's airports."
