OREANDA-NEWS. Yakutia branch of the Bank of Moscow has extended a lending ceiling for OAO Yakutia Airlines to the amount of 720 million RUR for the term of 5 years with the purpose of financing its core activity.

Yakutia Airline organised in 2002, in 2004 was reorganised from a state unitary enterprise into an open stock company. Today the airline is a leading air carrier of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and rates among the top 15 airlines of Russia. The passenger carriage accounts for 93% of the company’s proceeds. The airline participates in the programme of subsidising carriages from the Far East to the European part of Russia. The company’s route network includes over 100 regular and charter regional, long-distance and international flights. The company carries over 1 million passengers a year. The airline’s aircraft are based in the airports of Yakutia, Moscow (Vnukovo) and Krasnodar. The airline’s fleet consists of 28 aircraft.
