OREANDA-NEWS. Belarusian producer prices in July 2013 increased 0.8% on the month (up 5.2% since January 2013): prices of investment commodities remained unchanged on the month (up 5.1% on the year), intermediate materials prices - up 0.8% (up 6.1%), consumer goods prices - up 1.1% (up 3.5%), according to the National Statistics Committee.

In January-July 2013 Belarusian producer prices grew 12.3% on the year.

The largest increase in prices in January-July 2013 was in the mining industry - up 23.4% and processing industries - up 12.9%, while electric energy, gas and water production and distribution prices increased 9.7%.

Freight tariffs increased 21.4% year on year in January-July 2013, up 0.7% month on month in July; up 9.2% since January 2013.

Telecom tariffs for entities and private entrepreneurs grew 24.2% in Jan-Jul 2013 (up 0.4% month on month in July, up 6.1% since Jan 2013). Tariffs on long-distance and international remained unchanged in July and grew 4.1% since Jan 2013, cell phone tariffs - up 3.3% since January 2013, unchanged month on month in July, Internet tariffs - up 10.8% since Jan 2013, unchanged month on month in July.
