OREANDA-NEWS. Since September 2013 the specialists of the Holding's subsidiary TITANVENTECH are working on fitting the heat exchanger units and fire protection for the main air duct lines at the building No.30 of the Radioactive Waste Storage and Processing Complex in the Murmansk region.

Currently the company is working on the installation of ventilation pipes. These ventilation pipes weigh as much as three tons in total and are to be installed on the roof of the building. They will be used to exhaust air from across all exhaust hoods of the building.

The parallel installation of the 12th caisson's air handling systems is progressing fairly rapidly and is near completion.

In total, the project involves fitting and piping 58 exhaust and 34 supply ventilation systems, 10 conditioners, as well as installing 5,000 meters of cable-supporting metal constructions and laying 32 km of cable.

Before the arrival of the cold season, the constructors are also planning to close up all installation holes. Which means that all bulky equipment must be installed by then. Another factor is that the new equipment from Germany will be delivered and ready for immediate mounting already in December.

The total number of CJSC TITANVENTECH employees at the project site is 33 people, alongside 10 persons from Sosnovoborelectromontazh.

Building No.30 is a part of the Regional Radioactive Waste Storage and is structured as a series of trenches where the compacted, conditioned waste packages are stored.
