OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero Airlines reports its operational results for the first eight months of 2013. The results demonstrate the company’s stable development and highlight growth across all key performance indicators.

In January-August 2013:

Revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) increased to a total of 31,958 million, a 17.9% increase over the first eight months of 2012

Number of passengers carried reached 8,494,445, a 22.8% increase compared with January-August 2012

Freight turnover grew to a total of 3,112 million tkm, a 16.6% rise over the first eight months of 2012

Transaero delivered a total of 41,188.8 tons of cargo in the first eight months of 2013, up 3.5% on January-August 2012

Passenger load factor was 85.27% (1.5% up over the same period of 2012).

For the first time in Transaero’s history in August 2013 the number of passengers carried for one month period has exceeded 1.5 million, indicating of the airline’s sustainable development and growth.
