OREANDA-NEWS. Statoil has signed global framework agreements with two agencies, Gambit Hill+Knowlton Strategies and RLM Finsbury.

The contract awards conclude a procurement process where more than 20 agencies were invited to present their credentials.

In the final round six leading agencies presented their teams, competencies and capacities within corporate communication, public affairs, media relations, financial communication, emergency preparedness and crisis communication.

“We are pleased with the strong interest. Among the leading contenders we have chosen two agencies that complement each other and match our future needs.” says Reidar Gjжrum, senior vice president Corporate Communication at Statoil.

“Statoil has a broad range of stakeholders, and our strong commitment to openness, dialogue and social responsibility continues to present new communication needs. Access to external expertise will support our effort and facilitate continuous improvement of our communication to support Statoil’s growth strategy,” Gjжrum says.

The two framework agreements run for 3 years, with options for renewal of 2+2 years, and cover terms and conditions for the range of services the agencies offer.
