OREANDA-NEWS. On 1 October 2013, within the framework of the Far East visit of Vladimir Voyeikov and Vladimir Verkhoshinsky, members of the Board of the Bank of Moscow, a press conference was held in Khabarovsk where the results of the 9 months operations of the Bank’s branch in the Territory were voiced. In addition, the issues of the Bank’s activity aimed at social and economic development of the Khabarovsk Territory were dealt with, with due regard for the latest extraordinary situation caused by the flood in the Amur River area.

In November 2012 the Bank of Moscow signed a co-operation agreement with the Government of Khabarovsk Territory and the Administration of Khabarovsk. The Bank takes an active part in the projects that are significant for the development and support of the region’s infrastructure: financing of the water intake facility construction project on the Tungussky deposits, financing of the motor way construction project in Khabarovsk and Primorye Territories. Today the Khabarovsk branch faces the challenge of increasing its share in the servicing of enterprises operating both in the Territory and municipalities and in investing in both.

To render help to the flood victims in the Far East the Bank launched a drive to raise funds: donations to be transferred to special accounts in the Federal Treasury Administrations of the affected regions are accepted with no commission: Amurskaya area, Khabarovsk Territory, and Jewish Autonomous Area. In addition, to support the flood victims the Bank extended funds to Khabarovsk Territory and the City of Khabarovsk.

The Khabarovsk branch develops in all the directions of its business faster if compared with the regional market average indicators. Thus the corporate credit portfolio as of 1 September 2013 was 11.3 billion RUR (+33% if compared with the beginning of the year). The SMB credit portfolio as of the end of September was almost 3.5 billion RUR (+76% if compared with the beginning of the year), finalised Vladimir Voyeikov, member of the Board of the Bank of Moscow. As to the private client credit portfolio, today it amounts to 2.11 billion RUR (a 71% growth if compared with the beginning of the year), noted Vladimir Verkhoshinsky, member of the Board of the Bank of Moscow).

The operations of the Khabarovsk branch of the Bank of Moscow in the region are aimed at harmonious development of the retail and corporate business, higher business efficiency, maintaining the high standards of the customer services, and the provision of competitive financial services.
