OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, and the Novgorod Region government have signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in telecommunications.

Singing this agreement is aiming to solve an important social task in the region – to roll out high-quality and affordable mobile network in small and remote residential places in Novgorod Region by building up Tele2 base stations. Tele2 ensures high-quality work of mobile services at the territory where over 90% of population lives.

The company will continue investing in network expansion and improving quality of service. In 2013-2015 Tele2 is planning to invest over 115 mn rubles in developing the region’s telecommunications infrastructure.

“Developing telecommunications infrastructure in Novgorod Region is one of the main conditions to ensure the economy’s fast development and improve quality of living in the region. Long-term investment in mobile services will let us improve quality, reliability and availability of mobile services for Novgorod Region residents. We are sure that cooperation between authorities and business in this direction will yield positive results”.
