OREANDA-NEWS. Banco Bradesco (BM&FBOVESPA: BBDC3, BBDC4; NYSE: BBD, BBDO; e Latibex: XBBDC), is pleased to announce that it has won the 2013 Industry Highlight Award - Banks and Credit, issued by the Brazilian Association of Publicly-Held Companies (ABRASCA), for the best case of value creation in 2012.

The award has a rigorous selection process and the methodology adopted for calculating value creation is based on a study carried out by the University of Navarra, in Spain, and adapted by GRC Visao Gestao de Riscos e Cenarios.

First, the companies must meet qualifying criteria, after which their value creation for the period of 2010-2012 is calculated. The companies with the highest levels of value creation undergo qualitative research within the company by specialized analysts, in accordance with self-regulatory function of the APIMEC.

The winning companies are chosen by the Awards Committee, which is composed of representatives from Brazil's main capital markets entities: ABRAPP, ABVCAP, AMEC, ANBIMA, ANCORD, ANEFAC, APIMEC, BM&F BOVESPA, FIPECAFI, IBEF, IBGC, IBRACON and IBRI. The entire calculation process is reviewed by an independent auditing firm.

For Bradesco, which has as one of its operating premises the creation of value for the various stakeholders with whom it interacts, this recognition reaffirms the Company's commitment to continuously adopt and improve best practices in Management, Corporate Governance, Sustainability and Transparency.
