OREANDA-NEWS. Anhui's industrial value-added output rose 13.7 percent year-on-year to 614.5 billion yuan (USD 100.7 billion) during the first three quarters, ranking first in central China and third in the country, local statistics bureau said on Sunday.

In breakdown, the industrial value-added output of high technologies amounted to 209 billion yuan, up 16.5 percent from a year earlier, that of the manufacturing sector grew 16.6 percent year-on-year to 207 billion yuan, that of the six leading industries totaled 471.6 billion yuan, up 13.2 percent year and that of strategic emerging industries stood at 460 billion yuan, up 23.8 percent, the Anhui Provincial Bureau of Statistics said.

Private industrial enterprises saw their value-added output increase 17 percent year-on-year to 392 billion yuan between January and September, contributing to 75.7 percent of the province's industrial growth for the same period.
