OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2013. The Government carries out a systemic work on liberatlization of tax and customs domains, deregulation of making business, raising of energy efficiency.

The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov declared on the results of a meeting with Vice-President of the European Commission, EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro Olli Rehn. 

The representative of the Government stressed that further economic slowdown in Eurozone, reduced demand on Ukrainian export, complications in trade with the countries of the Customs Union, unreasonably high gas prices had affected economic activity in Ukraine. “Together with that, certain branches continue demonstrating rather high growth,” he said.

According to S. Arbuzov, the Government carries out a systemic work on liberalization of the tax and customs system, deregulation of making business, raising of energy effectiveness.

“The situation is improved in reimbursement of value added tax. A positive dynamics is observed from automatic refund of VAT to enterprises with foreign capital as well,” he added.
The First Vice Prime Minister noted that on the evaluation of the Cabinet of Ministers this year the sum of budget reimbursement would make around UAH 60 bln. In January-September this sum was UAH 42.9 bln.

The enterprises with the capital from the EU states have been reimbursed UAH 14.7 bln, which is by 50.5% higher against an analogous period of 2012.
