OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2013. Ukraine continues preparation to signing the Association Agreement with the EU and remains in the Eastern Partnership project and in this connection Prime Minister Mykola Azarov commissioned the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the Ministry of Economic Policy and Trade to ensure holding of trilateral (Ukraine – EU – RF) consultations, determining of the agenda and practical steps for agreements that will open a road to signing the Association Agreement. He emphasized during a session of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“Ukraine remains in the negotiation process, stays in the Eastern Partnership project. The pause which occurred will be used by us so that to continue improvement of Ukrainian legislation pursuant to European principles, improvement of democratic standards, speeding up in introducing of technical regulations and norms of European Union into economics, raising competitiveness of the national economics,” the Head of Government stressed.
