OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2013. CJSC "Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank” (KICB) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) signed two agreements of credit provision for total amount USD 12 million US dollars.

These agreements are results of arrangement reached between KICB and IFC in lending in two areas: small and medium businesses, as well as support of KICB customers’ trade finance (export and import).

According to the first agreement, IFC provides KICB a credit line in amount of USD 10 million US dollars. The cash credit line will be used to finance small and medium-sized business companies in the various sectors of the Kyrgyz economy including industry, agriculture, transport, commerce and trade, tourism, services and others. This facility is available for a period of five years.

According to the second agreement KICB became a member of the Global Program on Trade Finance of the International Finance Corporation in the amount of USD 2 million US dollars. The purpose of this program is to finance international trade through instruments such as letters of credit, guarantees, etc. The credit limit under this program is available for an unlimited time.

KICB assets amount to more than 281 million U.S. dollars, capital - 49 million U.S. dollars. Currently the bank services more than 80,000 customers through 12 branches and 19 sub-branches in all regions of the country.
