OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2013. The Government will continue the work on implementation of reforms in the field of health care of Ukraine.

As the Prime Minister of Ukraine stressed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the work would be carried out by a number of ways. In particular it comes about, the payment of benefits for the amount and quality of performed work by medical workers who provide primary care. This approach was tested in pilot regions (Vinnytsya, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kyiv regions) and now it must be extended to the whole country. Also it will be carried out payments of benefits to medical workers of emergency medical care that are provided by the Law of Ukraine "On emergency medical care."

In addition, perinatal centers will be open not less than in five regions (Volyn, Lviv, Ternopil and Cherkasy and Chernivtsi oblasts) and the works on the establishment of such centers in at least seven regions will be started (Vinnytsya, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kherson, Sumy regions and Kyiv).

The work on creation of single regional operational and dispatching services, which use modern GPS technology to reduce the time of arrival of ambulance crews to the patient will also be continued.
