OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Group results for first eleven months of 2013 continue to demonstrate growth in performance indicators.

In the reporting period from January to November 2013, UTair Group aircraft transported a combined total of 8,944,282 passengers, representing an increase of 13.4% over the same period in 2012. Passenger turnover increased by 16.5% over same period in 2012 and accounted for 17,156,951,170 pkm.

For the reporting period passenger load factor reached a total of 77.7 % representing a 3.7% improvement over the same period last year.

I n the first eleven months of 2013, UTair Group delivered 26,294.51 tons of cargo, 2.9% more than for the same period in 2012.

Growth in the volume of passengers transported was achieved along with a decrease in logged flight hours and the increased load factor - all of which positively affect the financial result of the Group’s flight operations and demonstrate improved efficiency of its route network and fleet management.

UTair Group rotor-wing aircraft logged a total of 153,306 flight hours in the January-November period of 2013 and delivered 134,694.45 tons of cargo and transported 730,857 passengers.

Under the fleet renewal strategy UTair Aviation took delivery of three new Airbus A321 and one Boeing 737-800NG aircraft this year and is expecting the delivery of one more A321 aircraft. In 2014 the airline is scheduled to receive 22 new aircraft from several manufacturers, including six new Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft.
