OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2013. Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) started the implementation of the program aimed at increasing the efficiency of its branch network.

One of the Bank’s current strategic tasks is the increase of financial stability of agribusiness and ensuring the timely provision of state support to borrowers. Pursuant to its Strategy through 2020, RusAg plans to increase the coverage of the Russian territory to 90% from 82% and the number of points of sale to 3,700 from 1,515.

According to the strategy, the Bank plans to open 100 new points of sale in 2014, including self-service and mobile offices. 20 regional branches will change their locations to improve efficiency and client services.

RusAg expands the range of formats of its presence, with primary focus on light and mini points of sale. These points of sale formats will ensure function distribution, based on real needs of local markets and efficient functioning of the Bank in rural areas. In regions where the presence of a permanent point of sale is inefficient the Bank will use such formats as mobile and self-service offices, a network of representatives. Besides, the Bank will actively develop remote service channels.

During the years of its successful operation, RusAg confirmed its status of the leading universal financial institution of federal importance. The Bank will continue its work in this direction, offering services in retail, corporate, investment, international segments.
