OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank CIB will participate in the 44th World Economic Forum in Davos as a part of Sberbank's delegation, which will be headed by Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank of Russia. The latest edition of the annual meeting of political, scientific and business leaders will take place from January 22-25 under the key topic "The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business." This year the WEF will be attended by around 2,500 global leaders from 100 countries.

At the forum, Sberbank CIB will be represented by Alexander Bazarov, Senior Vice President and Member of the Board of Sberbank of Russia, Deputy Head of Sberbank CIB. He will also participate in the business breakfast that Sberbank of Russia traditionally holds at the WEF. This year it will focus on the topic "Economic growth games: institutions or leadership - who is the winner?"

Sberbank CIB is an industry leader and has played an active role at the meeting of the global elite at Davos for over ten years. Currently Sberbank CIB is actively expanding its international presence by going beyond Russia to offer services to clients further abroad as well - in the CIS and Central and Eastern Europe. Consequently, participation in the WEF is among the company's strategic priorities.
