OREANDA-NEWS. NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within NTT, announced that it has completed its acquisition of a majority stake in Arkadin International SAS, the world's third-largest provider of collaboration solutions for audio, web, video conferencing and unified communications.

Arkadin serves approximately 37,000 customers in 32 countries, including France, Germany, UK, USA, Australia, China, Singapore and Japan. It was established by CEO Olivier de Puymorin in Paris in 2001.

NTT Com currently offers Arcstar UCaaS cloud-based unified communication services and Arcstar Conferencing solutions for audio, web, video conferencing and other communications services. NTT Com will use Arkadin's service infrastructure to expand its global collaboration services. It expects to launch a variety of new services, such as a feature to start Arcstar Conferencing seamlessly from within Arcstar UCaaS or Web Directory.

Going forward, NTT Com will further enhance its provision of total communication services centering on conference-related solutions, leveraging Arkadin's global customer base and advanced capabilities.
