OREANDA-NEWS. Moscow Domodedovo Airport is ready to start operating the second daily Emirates Airlines flight using A380 Superliner.

Starting from August 01, 2014, it will replace Boeing 777 on the second regular flight Dubai-Moscow-Dubai. "Operating both Emirates flights to Moscow on A380 shows our steadfast commitment to this strategically important market and opens up a wide choice for passengers departing from Domodedovo to visit Dubai for the first time or to make a trip to this city again," said Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Emirates.

The new A380 aircraft flying to Moscow will guarantee an unprecedented level of comfort offering 399 seats in Economy Class, 76 flat-bed seats in Business Class and 14 First Class Private Suites. This quality of services of the regular flights between Russia and the UAE is currently available only to Domodedovo passengers.

"A new phase of cooperation means that Domodedovo enters the 'major league' of the world's airports offering flights with Emirates exclusively on the world's largest passenger airliner A380. The state-of-the-art technical infrastructure allowed Domodedovo Airport to become the only airport of the country servicing Airbus A380 flights on a regular basis. Flights on the largest passenger aircraft on Dubai-Moscow (Domodedovo)-Dubai route has been operated since December 01, 2012. More than 300,000 passengers have already experienced the comfort of the quietest airliner in the world.

In 2013, Moscow Domodedovo Airport and Emirates Airlines celebrated the landmark date - ten years of cooperation. During this time, over 2.2 million passengers were carried by the airlines through Domodedovo.
