OREANDA-NEWS.  January 28, 2014. IC Alliance continues paying insurance indemnities to the Amur Region farmers who were badly hit by the summer flood in 2013.

The payment of 29.5 mln rubles became the largest amount reimbursed in respect of the flood. The loss payee is a farm business located in the Mikhaylovsky district of the Amur Region that suffered from a soybean shortfall.

Earlier, the agricultural producer received a reimbursement from IC Alliance for a shortfall in wheat and barley production. The total amount of insurance compensation to the farm business due to reduction in crop yields caused by land overwatering in 2013 was 35.5 mln rubles.

IC Alliance is the only company that insured crop yields with the government support in the Amur Region.
