OREANDA-NEWS. January 31, 2014. A conference of the employees of JSC TATNEFT was held in the city of Almetyevsk (Republic of Tatarstan).

There were summed up the results of the Company's activities and fulfillment of the Collective Agreement for 2013 and outlined the tasks for the current year.

The annual event was attended by Nail Maganov, General Director of JSC TATNEFT, Shafagat Takhautdinov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for Oil Industry, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC TATNEFT, Rinat Sabirov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatiana Vodopiyanova, Chairwoman of the Federation Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mazit Salikhov, Head of Almetyevsk Municipal District, senior managers, heads of the subdivisions and subsidiaries of the Company.
In 2013 JSC TATNEFT produced 26.107 million tons of crude oil. The level of 2012 was exceeded by 102 thousand tons. In general, the oil production in the Republic increased to 32 million 869 thousand tons.

The Company produced 312,000 tons of crude oil outside the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation regions in the reporting year. This was 3.4 percent above the previous year level. Taking into account this volume the production for the TATNEFT Group of Companies totaled 26 million 419 thousand tons of crude oil

The amount of 25.6 million tons of crude oil was treated and delivered with production of NGL amounting to 275.3 thousand tons. The volume of collected associated petroleum gas amounted to 864 million cubic meters.

The volume of extra-viscous oil (EVO) produced at Ashalchinskoye field increased significantly.

The amount of 145, thousand tons of EVO produced was here in 2013, which was 2 times higher than in the previous year production. Total production from the beginning of the pilot field development operations reached 325 thousand tons. Daily production was 480 tons by the end of the year.

 The plans for the coming years provide for increasing the number of wells and that will bring annual production to 800 thousand tons.

The Company implemented a wide range of innovative activities that improved the efficiency of the capital investments in drilling. A lot of work was carried out on   implementation of advanced technologies in the area of well workover and enhanced oil recovery. Workover of the wells with horizontal wellbores was continued.

Targeted works were continued during the year to implement environmental protection measures and the technologies of JSC TATNEFT. The considerable amount of environmental activities was distinguished by winning awards of various federal and republican contests. The Company became the absolute winner of the Republican contest "ECOleader" for the tenth time. It was named a laureate of the "100 Best Companies of Russia. Ecology and Environmental Management" contest and was awarded a Diploma of Merit of the Environment Foundation named after V.I. Vernadsky.

The "TANECO" NPiNHZ Complex was awarded the title "Best environmentally responsible company in the region" for the use of the most advanced and efficient environmental technologies. The amount of 7.6 million tons of crude oil was processed at "TANECO" over the past year, which accounted for 2.6% increase versus 2012. The refining depth was 73.5 percent. The combined hydrocracker is in the condition of comprehensive testing, raw materials have been accepted and a technological mode debugging is underway. Commissioning of this installation will increase the yield of light oil products and will allow producing 1 million 160 thousand tons of Euro-5 standard diesel fuels, 380 thousand tons of Jet grade aviation kerosene, 600,000 tons of straight-run gasoline and hydrotreated gasoil.

The plans provide for increasing the volume of oil refining to 8.5 million tons per year in 2014. It is necessary to complete the comprehensive testing of the combined hydrocracking installation facilities and expand its product range. The next step will be construction of a crude oil deep conversion refinery, which will include a delayed coking unit, catalytic cracking installation, catalytic reforming and isomerization unit. These installations will allow increasing the refining depth to 97 percent.

The Company carries out systematic work to expand the network of filling stations. Currently 648 TATNEFT's filling stations sell all kinds of gasoline and diesel in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The plans for 2014 provide for commissioning 13 filling stations and 14 gas terminals.
The innovative educational resource "Electronic Corporate University" continues developing, providing for 18 different practical training areas, training courses for professionals and university students, taking into account the specifics of TATNEFT activities. About 6,000 persons attended the ECU training during 2013.

The plans for 2014 provide for introduction within the frame of the ECU of the simulator "Energy-efficient Oil Production" contemplating   development of the project for development and production of oil at a virtual field with  joint participation of students and young professionals of the Company. The project is based on a real digital hydrodynamic model of Block No. 3 of Berezovskaya area of NGDU "Almetyevneft" and can be used for the young professionals' skills development.

A large scope of activities was carried out in the framework of implementing social programs. All the commitments contained in the Collective Agreement of the Company were   fulfilled in the reporting year. The programs of voluntary health insurance and non-governmental pension coverage of the employees were fully implemented.

The objectives of the Joint Stock Company in 2014 include further work on implementation of innovative technologies in crude oil production and effective coping with production challenges, continuation of implementing large-scale projects on the construction of the "TANECO" plants Complex, development of hard-to-recover oil reserves, increasing extra-viscous oil production, etc.

A new Collective Agreement for 2014 with amendments and additions was adopted at the conference.

Tariff rates (salaries) of JSC TATNEFT employees have increased by 10 percent since January 1 of the current year versus the annual average of 2013. The size amount types of welfare assistance payments provided by the Collective Bargaining Agreement, etc has also been increased.
