OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2014. This was briefed to journalists by Vice-premier, Economy Minister of Moldova Valeriu Lazar. As he said, authorities avoid specifying the companies until the talks are rounded off. Moldova is vying for investment with some countries in the region to which the car manufacturers may move their assembly lines from EU member states, which have become less attractive for them, the Economy Minister emphasized.

 Moldova has been in the focus of interest of many foreign companies, which would like to outsource their manufactures to our country and are negotiating this matter with Moldova's authorities paying special attention to our fiscal policy and predictability.

The Minster referred the journalists to large multinational companies from Germany, Japan and other countries. Among rivals of Moldova, he said, there are Macedonia, Serbia, Tunis and other countries.
