OREANDA-NEWS. The Savinskiy Cement Plant, which is part of EUROCEMENT Group, gave away 90 tonnes of high-quality cement to various organizations and institutions in the Arkhangelsk Region in 2013.

The Savinskiy Cement Plant, which is a company aware of its social responsibility, is continuing its active work in relation to implementing charitable programs in the Arkhangelsk Region. The priority area in 2013 was the development of social infrastructure in Pomorye.

Thanks to assistance from the plant, educational, medical, public, state and cultural institutions were refurbished in the Plesetsk District, which this year will celebrate the 85th anniversary of its foundation. Among the buildings that were refurbished in the summer and autumn period were the following: the fire depot in the village of Yemets; the boilers in Obozersky, as part of a program of preparations for winter; and the lower-ground floors and foundations of schools and nursery schools in Savinsk, Severonezhsk and elsewhere.

Most of the cement was sent to the RF Ministry of Defence's 1st State experimental cosmodrome 'Plesetsk' so that a program of structural repairs could be carried out on various buildings.
