OREANDA-NEWS. Moscow Domodedovo Airport improves passenger comfort during the necessary arrival procedures. Additional customs control channels have been opened together with the Domodedovo Customs, this enables to increase the throughput and to improve the service quality.

The passengers choosing Domodedovo for foreign travelling are not able to pass customs control in the new channels located in the international sector of the passenger terminal building. Five 'corridors' fitted up with the necessary equipment for efficient and prompt operations of the customs service employees are opened here. In addition, personal search rooms are in place.

The new channels enabled to expand the customs control area of Moscow Domodedovo Airport and to almost double its throughput. For the passengers' convenience, the number of 'corridors' which travelers not carrying any declared goods can use increased to four.

Launch of the new customs hall is just one of the stages aimed at increasing terminal capacities of the Domodedovo passenger terminal: in the near future, the plan is to expand the customs control area to ten channels. These efforts will contribute to creating more favorable conditions for the passengers arriving to Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
