OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus hopes to receive as much as USD 520 million in credit support from the World Bank Group in 2014-2017, Belarus said in the 2013 overview of the Foreign Affairs Ministry's foreign policy and activities. The document was released on Wednesday.

According to the document, Belarus may get USD 380 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and USD 140 million from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for implementing various projects. The review reads that the aforementioned funding is covered by the World Bank Group's partnership strategy for Belarus for 2014-2017 financial years adopted in June 2013.

The ministry points out the volume of EBRD operations in Belarus reached the historic high of ˆ200 million in 2013.
