OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2014. Stats-Secretary, Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia), Andrey Tsarikovsky, had a working meeting with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnekhanov.

The discussion focused mainly on cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the antimonopoly body, the work of FAS Centre for Education and Methodics and the efforts of the authorities for introducing the Federal Contract System.

In conclusion, Andrey Tsarikovsky answered questions from journalists. He pointed out that “FAS has been working the Republic of Tatarstan for a long time, and there are many joint projects, including FAS Center for Education and Methodics that organizes training workshops for specialists. Unlike other education-and-methodics centres, it was formed in Kazan rather than in Moscow. Now it carries out educational workshops on the Federal Contract System, which came into force on 1st January. Until enforcement of the federal law causes questions, it is necessary to advance qualification of the experts working within the Contract System”.
