KAMAZ Raises Salaries and Rates for its Workers
OREANDA-NEWS. In spite of stagnation of the Russian truck market and a decline in sales, Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ, signed an order on indexation of salaries and rates for workers.
Workers with small grades will see the highest growth of salaries and rates – from 3% to 10%. Managers, office workers and experts will have salaries increased by 0.1%-3%, and also experts with small categories will see the highest growth. It should be recalled that there was one and the same indexation rate for all categories of workers before. Such an approach resulted in an uneven growth of salaries – higher-paid workers’ pay rates and salaries grew more. To eliminate this disbalance, the rate scale was changed. On the whole, from the 1st of February, the level of the minimal wage rate at KAMAZ will grow by 10% to 5,970 roubles.
