OREANDA-NEWS. March 20, 2014, 00 a.m. Ukraine International Airlines will transfer Kiev - St. Petersburg - Kiev flight operation from Pulkovo 2 to modern newly-built Terminal 1 at Pulkovo International airport.

Due to the new terminal inauguration UIA-coded Kiev - St. Petersburg - Kiev flights will be operated to/from Terminal 1. UIA flights' transfer to the state-of-the-art terminal built by FRAPORT - Frankfurt international airport operator - will allow increasing the efficiency of UIA passenger service and baggage processing.

Passengers will spend less time on airport formalities due to the terminal's facilities namely significant number of immigration and aviation safety control points, comfortable transfer area, boarding bridges, modern baggage dispensing, and delivery system.

“We are glad to transfer our flights to the new terminal since it will allow significantly increasing UIA passengers' handling standards and making baggage processing more efficient, - noted Anton Borysyuk, UIA Vice President Services & Logistics. - For the convenience of passengers departing on domestic and international flights, ticket offices providing services to UIA passengers are located on the right and left hand sides of the Departures Area at Terminal 1”.
