OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank of Moscow opened a dedicated credit line to MKP Tulagorsvet in the amount of 150 mln roubles. The credit funds were provided for the project of street lighting reconstruction in the town of Tula.

The launching of the project was preceded by the analysis of the trends of outdoor lighting development in Russia and abroad (from 2009 till present), the study of operational characteristics of modern lighting equipment with minimal expenses for its implementation in the network of outdoor lighting in Tula. The project realisation also considered the requirements of MKP Tulagorsvet production area necessary for large scale assembly of lighting equipment. The project implementation will allow to save power of up to 160 Watt per hour per each mercury-vapour lamp and up to 55 Watt per hour per each sodium-vapour lamp. The service life of a new equipment set is minimum 10 years which significantly reduces the expenses for its maintenance.

MKP Tulagorsvet is a municipal state enterprise of the town of Tula. Its main activity is maintenance and operation of outdoor lighting. The enterprise services 34100 objects of outdoor lighting (lighting points).

“The Bank of Moscow actively participates in crediting municipal enterprises”, commented Maxim Kokorin, the Bank of Moscow Vice-president. “The speciality of this deal is that the repayment of the investment does not require attraction of additional budgetary funds. The return on the project will be within the established amount of budgetary financing of MKP Tulagorsvet thanks to saving the power and a qualified appraisal of the applied lighting technical equipment by the Bank. After the return of investment, budgetary expenses for outdoor lighting will be reduced by 31.4 mln roubles yearly.”
