OREANDA-NEWS. The bus sales service of OJSC KAMAZ together with State transport leasing company (STLC) organized the delivery of 50 NEFAZ-5299-30-31 gas buses to a carrier in Tula on leasing.
The vehicles will go to the municipal enterprise Tulgorelektrotrans engaged in providing urban transportation by buses, trolleybuses and trams in Tula and Tula Oblast. The buses will be supplied by KAMAZ’s official dealer in Moscow – TrakHolding.
The NEFAZ-5299-30-31 low-entry city bus is designed for 25 seats, has a Mercedes-Benz engine (compliant with the Euro 5 emission standard), and runs on compressed natural gas.
KAMAZ and STLC began cooperating to promote NGVs last summer when they signed a cooperation agreement. They joined their efforts to expand the domestic fleet of natural gas vehicles. KAMAZ and STLC are developing solutions to stimulate demand for natural gas vehicles.
