Southern Kuzbass Coal Company Starts Erection of Walking Dragline
OREANDA-NEWS. Southern Kuzbass Coal Company starts erection of walking dragline at Krasnogorsky opencast mine (Kemerovo region) under the supervision of Uralmasplant's specialists
The plant shipped the last parts of the machine, whose total weight achieves 1760 t, to the Kemerovo region at the end of March. The package included rotating platform segments, superstructure and beam housing. Now, the Customer's personnel assemble and align the supporting frame. The erection of ЭШ 20.90 will take about one year.
The new walking dragline incorporates the beat and state-of-the-art design solutions delivered by Uralmashplant. An innovative high-performance a.c. drive system will propel the machine, improve its reliability and decrease the operational costs. The dragline information system equipped with cameras allows miners to perform real-time monitoring of machine mechanisms operation. The automatic firefighting and protection systems ensure safe and trouble-free operation even in case of crew abuse.
