OREANDA-NEWS.  According to re-bidding results, Power Machines OJSC has won an open two-stage competition for the right to conclude a contract to supply four complete heat recovery steam generators with horizontal design for Yakutskaya SDPP-2 being under construction.

According to a draft contract, Power Machines OJSC is not only to manufacture the equipment, but also to provide its delivery, installation supervision, staff training and testing. The equipment will be manufactured by Krasny Kotelshchik Taganrog Boiler-Making Works forming part of the Power Machines OJSC power engineering group.

The heat recovery steam generators are to be supplied within 9 months from the contract signing date.

The first phase of Yakutskaya SDPP-2 construction is one of the four projects within the framework of RusHydro JSC investment program to build new power generation facilities in the Far East being implemented in co-operation with RAO Energy System of East JSC. The installed electric power capacity of the new Yakutskaya SDPP will amount to 193 MW and its heat capacity will be 469 Gcal/h. The construction is to be completed in 2015.

Let us recall that Power Machines take part in one more project within the RusHydro JSC investment program to build new power generation facilities in the Far East – the 2nd phase of Blagoveshchenskaya TPP construction. Earlier the Company signed a corresponding general contractor agreement for the construction of the 2nd phase of Blagoveshchenskaya TPP to perform the functions of a general “turnkey” contractor with Blagoveshchenskaya TPP CJSC (RusHydro JSC subsidiary).
