OREANDA-NEWS.  Apranga Group, the leading fashion retailer of Lithuania and in the Baltic States, opens the first AJ|Armani Jeans store in the Baltics. The store covering 158 sq.m. is opened in Vilnius, shopping mall Europa, and will present denim line, casual styles for men and women, accessories and eyewear. In May AJ|Armani Jeans stores will be opened in Tallinn. In Riga the new opening will follow in July.

“The first contact with Giorgio Armani Group was established in 2002. We have started from Armani Jeans line for men and women at our multibrand store Mados Linija in Vilnius. Currently we are managing 3 Emporio Armani stores, Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn each. We present Giorgio Armani and Armani Collezioni collections. Multibrand stores Mados Linija sell Armani Jeans successfully as well”, - says Rimantas Perveneckas, General Director of Apranga Group.

Giorgio Armani Group is one of the leading luxury goods groups in the world. Armani Jeans collection was launched in 1981 and currently sold in over 45 countries in AJ|Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani boutiques, also department stores.

“We dedicate a lot of attention to expansion of existing chains, refurbishment of operated stores, as well as introduction of new brands to the market recent years. It is based on our long term plans to focus on all segments and maintain the leadership. Apranga Group opened 42 new stores, 25 stores were fully refurbished and 8 closed since year 2012. We have dedicated for this purpose LTL 50 million, while LTL 26.4 million were invested to luxury and business chain development and refurbishment”, - says Rimantas Perveneckas, General Director of Apranga Group.
