OREANDA-NEWS. In Q1 2014, Farlep-Invest, the Internet provider responsible for operations management of Vega Telecommunications Group, boosted its revenue by 3% year on year. Total revenue from operations made UAH 170.869m.

The provider's net profit for Q1 2014 totalled UAH 87.3m. The performance year on year changed by 95% due to currency rate fluctuations that resulted in higher losses from operating exchange differences across the group.

In the first quarter 2014, Farlep-Invest's capital investment amounted to UAH 6.733m.

Under the provider's strategy, the capital expenditure in Q1 covered the development of Wi-Fi, FTTH and FTTB zones to attract new subscribers. In addition, the company invested in making its fixed lines more reliable amid current circumstances where access to information and communications is essential.

In Q1 2014, Vega paid UAH 34,791,800 in taxes.
