OREANDA-NEWS. 'Expert RA' rating agency upgraded 'GENBANK' creditworthiness rating to A, which means high credit solvency, the third rating sublevel. The rating outlook is stable, which means high probability of maintaining the rating in the mid-term. The Bank used to have rating В++, which means acceptable credit solvency, with the developing outlook.
Improvement of liquidity indicators, the resource base stabilization, and plans to increase the Bank's capital were the key factors for upgrading the rating.
Low capital adequacy combined with the suboptimal capital structure and the significant encumbered assets were the rating-restraining factors.
