OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2014. "Foreign investors take a tender interest in Kazakhstan's national projects," Oil and Gas Minister Uzakbai Karabalin said addressing the 21st World Oil Congress.

As the minister said, participation in the congress speaks for high appreciation of the country's influence at the world oil and gas market. That's why, one of the key priorities is further realization of the tasks set by President Nursultan Nazarbayev to increase the share of foreign investment into the national economy.

"Foreign investors show interest in our achievements and projects for the future. We showcased the country's opportunities, our striving for further cooperation to attract investments. They highly appreciated the country's initiatives to create favorable conditions for doing business, including tax preferences," he added.

As earlier reported, the Kazakh national committee under the World Oil Congress represented by KAZENERGY Association oil and gas companies under the auspices of the Kazakh Oil and Gas Ministry, takes part in the congress.
