OREANDA-NEWS.   The Bank of Moscow entered into an interhost connection agreement with UEC OJSC, which will enable the use and acceptance of the Bank's cards through the infrastructure of the banks that have joined the Universal Electronic Card payment system (PRO100 payment system).

"By complying with the recommendations of the Central Bank regarding interhost connections, the Bank of Moscow provides additional assurance to its clients using bank cards within the Russian Federation. The interhost connection with UEC opens up new opportunities for the card business of the Bank of Moscow and for the business of our agent banks using our sponsor services," said Maxim Patrin, Vice President, Bank of Moscow.

The Russian payment system PRO100 accepts card payments through more than 88,000 self-service terminals and more than 359,000 trade companies throughout the Russian Federation.
