OREANDA-NEWS. City Council approved several consent items during the Monday, June 23 meeting to ensure Charlotte Douglas International Airport continues to meet its current and future goals. Interim Aviation Director Brent Cagle provides a summary of some of the items approved:

Airport Checked Baggage In-Line System Maintenance Contract
City Council approved a maintenance contract with Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics, LLC to operate and maintain the Airport's new checked baggage in-line system.  

Airport CityWorks Asset Management Software
City Council approved an agreement with AECOM to provide implementation services for the setup and configuration of CityWorks as the Airport's work and asset management tool.

Airport Financial Services Contract
City Council approved a service contract with Newton & Associates, Inc. for financial and business consulting services for a term of one year.

Airport Telecommunications Technician Contract
City Council approved a Master Services Agreement with AT&T for the maintenance of the Airport's telecommunications system for two years.
