Airport recognized for excellence in Marketing and Communications SAN FRANCISCO - Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA), the foremost advocate for airport operators in North America, has awarded San Francisco International Airport (SFO) its highest honor for the Airport's Marketing & Communications efforts, the 2014 “Peggy G. Hereford Award”. This award is widely recognized throughout the airport world as the highest honor an airport can earn in the public and media relations field.

SFO was also recognized with awards in seven (7) categories:

1st Place - Websites (Traditional) for the re-launched flysfo.com

1st Place - Creative Innovations - Technology for “The SFO Flight Deck” in T3, Boarding Area E

2nd Place - Video and Film for the “Inside SFO” series

3rd Place - Mobile Website/Apps for the responsive design of flysfo.com

3rd Place - Marketing Campaigns for the “Travel Well” campaign

3rd Place - Brochures for The SFO Museum exhibit brochures

3rd Place - Special Events for the re-opening of T3, Boarding Area E

“Being presented with the Peggy G. Hereford Award and being recognized in seven categories is a tremendous honor,” said Airport Director John L. Martin. “It speaks to the creativity, innovation, and dedication of the team.”

The Award was presented to SFO today at the annual ACI-NA Marketing & Communications conference in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
