OREANDA-NEWS.  Today, 24th day of June 2014, Donavia greeted its tenth Airbus 319 in Rostov airport.

Airplane with tail number VP-BWJ was delivered from Ostrava (Czech Republic). A company employees greeted the crew — commander of the air squadron A319 Sergey Zintsov and second pilot Vladimir Ivanov. As a tradition, the aircraft will be blessed after customs clearance.

This aircraft will be used in the whole route network of Donavia in Russia and countries of CIS and far abroad and tomorrow, June 25, aircraft will perform its first flight and will start to operate according to the scedule.

Donavia airline leased the tenth airline from the GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) — civil aircrafts financing and leasing unit of GE. The newbie aircraft's year made is 2004, previous operator — Aeroflot - Russian airlines. Medium-haul aircrafts of this family are serving Donavia since July 2012.

Airbus A319 has a two-class arrangement — business (12 seats) and economy (120 seats); flight range is 5500 km. Airbus are one of the most demanded and modern aircrafts operated in the whole world.
