OREANDA-NEWS.  Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ, was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Open stock venture for special machinery and metallurgy Motovilikha Plants. His first deputy Yuri Klochkov was appointed as new Director General of Perm’s Enterprise.
These decisions were taken at a special general meeting of JSC Motovilikha Plants’ shareholders. The shake-up at Motovilikha plants were initiated by State Corporation Rostec. Sergey Kogogin explained that Rostec had decided to transfer its 40% in the machine-building holding in trust to its automobile production organization – RT-Auto controlling KAMAZ and AVTOVAZ.
Yuri Klochkov will keep his post of First Deputy Director General of OJSC KAMAZ – CEO till the end of this week showing the ropes to Yuri Gerasimov, ex-director of the engine plant of OJSC KAMAZ. According to KAMAZ’s tradition of appointing successors to key positions in the company that enables to effectively rotate top manages, Gerasimov is appointed Successor to First Deputy Director General of OJSC KAMAZ – CEO. And his post was taken by Sergey Snarsky who had previously worked as Deputy Director of the Automobile Plant for Production.
