OREANDA-NEWS. A workshop meeting with the participation of representatives of the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (the Government of India Enterprise) and Massa LLC - Izolyator Company has taken place at FGC UES, within the framework of the Indian delegation visit to Russia. The parties have discussed the matters of high-voltage bushings operation at FGC transformer substations and interaction with Russian electrical manufacturers.

Among the participants of the event were: Valishera Govinda Rao, Deputy Managing Director of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Aleksandr Zinovyevich Slavinsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Massa LLC - Izolyator Company, as well as representatives of FGC UES, the manufacturing plant and the Indian company.

The specialists of Power Grid and Izolyator Company shared information about the activities of their companies, the experience in international collaboration and application of high-voltage bushings at power grid facilities.

It was underlined that one of the strategic areas of the FGC UES activity is the creation of conditions for the substitution of import products with the domestic ones and localization of electrical equipment production in the territory of Russia. FGC UES is open for a closer cooperation with the Indian company in terms of experience exchange in the operation of electrical equipment and is willing to recommend domestic manufacturers of high-voltage equipment as suppliers to the grid facilities of India.

At the request of the Indian company and in the best interest of promotion of domestic manufacturers" products in the global markets, Federal Grid Company organized for the Indian colleagues and the experts of Izolyator Company visits to a number of 500-750 kV transformer substations of FGC branches equipped with high-voltage bushings produced by Izolyator Company. In the course of the technical audit of the high-voltage bushings, the representatives of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. could not only assure themselves of the reliable operation thereof, but also become generally acquainted with the operation of Russian high-voltage transformer substations.
