As it was informed in the Federal customs service of the Russian Federation, the exports of Moldovan goods to Russia for the first 5 months of 2014, compared to the same period in 2013, decreased by 16% - from USD137.3 million to USD 115,4 million, and deliveries of Russian products to Moldova grew by 17.4% from \\$538,7 million to USD 632,7 million.

Negative trade balance of Moldova with Russia in January-May 2014 amounted to USD 517,3 million, increasing by 28.9% in comparison with the same period of 2013. The share of Moldova in the total trade of the Russian Federation remained at the same level- by % 0.2. As it was reported by InfoMarket before, the trade turnover between Russia and Moldova (including the Transnistrian region) in 2013 decreased by 16.7% - to USD 1 billion 738,4 million.

At the same time, exports of Moldovan goods to Russia decreased by 12.5% - up to USD 417,5 million, and deliveries of Russian products to Moldova has decreased by 17.9% - to USD 1 billion 320,9 million. The negative trade balance of Moldova with Russia in 2013 amounted to USD 903,4 million, decreasing by 20.2% compared to 2012.

According to FCS of the Russian Federation, the main Russian exports to Moldova are: mineral raw materials, foodstuffs and agricultural products, chemical products, machinery, equipment and vehicles. The structure of imports from Moldova is dominated by food products and agricultural raw materials, metals and products from them machines, equipment and vehicles, textiles and textile products. Commodity structure of deliveries in the Russian Federation from the right-Bank and left-Bank parts of Moldova considerably varies. In barter transactions with Transnistria dominates industrial products, and on the right-Bank Moldova- agrarian ones.
