The winners of the prestigious IR awards were selected by Thomson Reuters Extel, IR Magazine Russia & CIS’s research partner, as part of their independent 2013 Russia IR Survey. Independent survey among sell-side and buy-side representatives investing in Russia based companies was open from March 17 to May 7, 2014. More than 17 000 of professionals from 75 countries took part in the survey. The ceremony was held on the 10th of July in Marriott Grand Hotel.

Severstal outran competition from fellow nominees such as Evraz and NLMK.

“We are pleased to receive such a high accolade for our work. Severstal has made significant efforts to become more compelling for the investors lately: applying best practices in investor communications, the company is first among fellow nominees to disclose its quarterly reports; its management is always available for meetings with investors; Severstal implements stable dividend policy etc. We hope that our focus on creating value for shareholders while making any strategic decisions will continue to satisfy the requirements of the investment community“, said Vladimir Zaluzhsky, Head of IR of Severstal.
