OREANDA-NEWS. For the reporting period from January to June 2014, UTair Group transported a total of 4,884,416 passengers - an increase of 9.68% over the same period in 2013. Passenger turnover for the group increased 21.23% over same period in 2013, with 42.34% of the growth in international flight operations.

Passenger load factor reached 78.83%, 4.38% more than for the same period 2013. The volume of mail delivered by the UTair Group amounted to 2,408.66 tons, an increase of 58.12%.

The increase in passenger volume and growing seat occupancy within a consistent amount of logged flight hours has had a positive impact on the financial performance of aircraft operations and reflects the efficiency of UTair Group route networks and fleet management.

UTair helicopters logged a total of 65,762 flight hours in the January-June 2014 and carried 40,525.56 tons of cargo and 347,646 passengers for the reporting period.
