OREANDA-NEWS. Neviansky Tsementnik, part of EUROCEMENT group, delivered 108,325 tons of high quality and environmentally friendly cement to its customers in May 2014, which is 4.1% (4,267 tons) more than May's figure from the previous year..

The proportion of CEM II/A-S 32.5N remains high - more than half of total delivered cement - due to its high demand among customers. In May 2014, 56,854 tons of cement of this type were delivered to customers, which exceeds the equivalent figure from May of the previous year by 10.5% (5,417 tons).

The plant has also seen consistent growth in bagged cement deliveries. According to the results of May 2014, 19,857 tons of bagged cement were delivered, which is 7.7% (1,422 tons) more than in May of the previous year.

It's worth noting that right now, the cements CEM II/À-S32.5N and CEM II/V-S 32.5 N are packaged in environmentally friendly and durable three-layer 50 kg paper bags. Cement packaged in such a way does not spill, is convenient to carry and store, and its paper packaging is maximally environmentally friendly and fully biodegradable. At the same time, the cements CEM I 42.5N and CEM II/A-S 32.5N are packaged in soft 1,000 kg big bags. This packaging is particularly regarded for its high durability and moisture resistance. All bagged cements are delivered by the plant via rail, the group's bed trucks and the client's transport.

The development of its own quarry has allowed the plant to keep its operations continuously active. In May 2014, the plant mined 113,834 tons of its own limestone. This figure is 9.6% higher than the amount mined in May of the previous year.
