OREANDA-NEWS.   Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe*, today announced further enhancements to its low fare route network in Italy. From 1 November 2014 the airline will start operating 2 weekly flights from Bari to Timisoara, while from 14 March 2015 there will be a twice weekly service from Bari to Cluj-Napoca. Both services will be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Timisoara, one of the largest cities in Romania, is the main cultural, social and economic hub for the Western part of Romania. The city is also a candidate to become the European Capital of Culture in 2021.  Cluj-Napoca is considered the unofficial capital to the historical province of Transylvania and is one of the most important academic, cultural, industrial and business centres in Romania.
